Liat Yossifor was born in Israel in 1974. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1996 and her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine in 2002. She completed her residencies at The Ucross Foundation, Claremont, WY in 2008, at the Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt, Germany in 2010, and at Aurobora Press, San Francisco, CA in 2011.
She has had numerous solo exhibitions nationally and internationally including Pomona College Museum of Art in Claremont, CA; Angles Gallery in Los Angeles, CA; Anita Becker Gallery in Frankfurt, Germany; Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects in Los Angeles, CA and Noga Gallery of Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Ameringer | McEnery | Yohe, New York, NY.
