FRANKLIN EVANS (b. in 1967 in Reno, NV) received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University in 1989 and his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa in 1993.

He was the recipient of the Cosmopolitan/Art Production Fund P3Studio, Las Vegas, NV in 2015; the Rome Prize Fellowship Finalist for the American Academy in Rome, Italy in 2011; and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in 2010; among others.
